A new home always feels like a new start and moving to Bermondsey has been a great adventure to start the summer. After two years living together in West London Albertine and I decided to pack up and journey to a different part of town. We found a beautiful little maisonette with two bedrooms, a living room and kitchen. Finally we have a proper dinner table and can cook for our friends (our last place was a little cramped so we usually ended up eating in our bedrooms – awful I know)!
After a few weekends unpacking boxes, hanging our prints and adding the finishing touches it finally feels like home. I’ve become obsessed with interior shopping and my favourite pieces are this Monsoon Rug, Dunelm Footstool, Maisons du Monde Gold Planter, Sainsburys Gold Cafetiere and H&M cushions.
The yellow chest of drawers came with our flat and at first we were very keen to get rid of it but with some fresh daffodils in a vase and matching yellow cushions on the sofa I think it adds some colour to our front room. What do you think? If not this one I love this Oliver Bonas Chest of Drawers.

I’ve been investing all my spare cash in homeware recently (the rug took some serious saving but was oh so worth it) which has been great for stopping me spending money on new clothes. But… I did use the good weather as an excuse for a few new pieces. How could I not when sandals and sunglasses look so good in this glorious sunshine!! This gorgeous chambray shirt from the And/Or Collection by John Lewis is my new favourite top for styling with a pair of jeans. If you love boho fabrics, statement earrings & leather details then it’s going to complete your summer wardrobe. You can shop my outfit here…
