Everywhere I look at the moment, I see suede. The runways were full of it at London Fashion Week and it’s being worn by every blogger I know. Chloé’s belted jackets boasted matching shorts, while Saint Laurent trotted out suede Chelsea boots and patched jackets but I found the perfect high street purchase so I can wear the trend without breaking the bank.
I’ve tried to master the suede trend with a 70’s inspired Suedette Skirt by Monsoon. Designed with oversized patch pockets to the front and a self-tie bow waistbelt, this piece is the perfect way to channel sophisticated style into everyday outfits. All it needed was a simple white blouse to complete the outfit.
Of course I couldn’t help adding a statement bag…it was fashion week after all! This Python Print Grab Bag by Fiorelli is beautifully designed and simply practical with its double zip compartment. As a lovely little extra it’s personalised with my initials on the front. How cute!
Unpredictable Autumn weather makes it so hard to choose the perfect pair of High Heels for a day out in London but these Nude Leather Block Heels by Clarks are perfect for transitioning through the seasons. The peep toe and cut out heel detailing works equally well with bare feet as it does with tights on colder days. Best of all – Clarks High Heels are so comfy that, with enough cups of coffee, I was able to spend all day on my feet running from show to show!
Et Voila! My outfit for day two of London Fashion Week – comment below to let me know what you think. If you want to style suede for 2015 then I suggest you seize pieces that will transition smoothly into spring, but style them for now. Why wait?
