My Audrey Dress On The Avenue des Champs-Élysées

When I booked a trip to Paris I knew I had to have a show stopping outfit which meant one thing…shopping. After hours of looking online I couldn’t find anything that was unique or fabulous enough to stroll down The Avenue des Champs-Élysées in.

Finally I stumbled across this Audrey Dress by Little Black Dress and knew it was just the thing to make me feel as Parisian as possible. The warm nude tone and delicate feathers gives the dress a soft, feminine feel which is perfect for a warm summers evening. I saw it on one of my fave bloggers Be Frassy and thought it was the height of sophistication!

It’s cut to fit and flatter with pleats to the bust and a hidden zip at the back to achieve a slender fit. Although… I would still recommend some shape wear lingerie because even though the fabric is luxuriously soft it’s also very tight. I usually shy away from wearing tight fitting dresses as I have a curvy figure but I felt really confident in this dress as the cut hugged me in just the right places.

The gently boned Ostrich feather detailing on the hemline is such a stunning stand-out feature. The dress creates a very sleek silhouette so I didn’t want to accessorise much – I just styled it with nude heels, delicate jewellery and subtle makeup. I wore this dress to dinner at The Peninsula Hotel where we had a view of the Eiffel Tower. You can read more about my evening here. Lucky for you…this dress is now in the sale! So what’s stopping you from treating yourself?!?
