When you move into a new flat it takes a while for it to feel like home. Adding those ‘homely touches’ isn’t easy when renting means no hanging photos or painting the walls! But I decided I couldn’t live without some prints in my room and found solutions to display them. Hello sticky hanging strips and photo ledges…
When I was looking for posters online I stumbled across Desenio who sell trendy posters, prints and frames. They’re a Swedish-based business so they’re all about the hygge feels…I love a bit of Nordic chic! The website has A LOT of prints, with something to suit almost all homes and interior design styles. So expect to get lost on their website with all of the choice! Desenio have created a ‘Perfect Pair’ part of the website which shows you nice combinations of posters in a pair, perfect together. With so many prints to choose from I loved this page – it made choosing them a lot easier.
The posters on Desenio are a real bargain so I was worried they might look cheap. When they arrived I was seriously impressed by the quality – they’re printed on matt, uncoated paper and look really premium.
Above my bed I have their ‘Into The Blue’ poster which is just stunning. It’s totally changed the feel of my room since I added this cooling blue feature piece. It matches all of my blue mongolian fur cushions perfectly so that my room feels like a cosy and calm sanctuary. All of my cushions and bedding are from La Redoute who sell chic french-inspired homeware (without the Parisian price tag). My gorgeous Copper Table Light from Iconic Lights has a really cool geometric design that compliments the gold jewellery on my dresser.
If you’re looking to update your home with some prints then I have just the thing for you… Desenio are offering my readers 25% off with the code ‘freydefleur’ which is valid on all posters except the “handpicked” category. The code lasts till from the 7th March to the 9th March so hurry!
